As the initial contract with Best Trash nears its conclusion, the board has completed negotiations for a new contract to service the household waste removal for our neighborhood with a few changes/improvements. So, what's changing?
1. Trash pick up will change from Monday/Thursday to Tuesday/Friday starting in October
- Recycle collection will be on Tuesdays
- Trash & Heavy trash will continue to be on both collection days
- The last pick up on the current schedule will be Monday, Sept. 30th and the first pick up on the new schedule will be Tuesday, October 1st — this means there will be 2 recycle collections and 3 trash collections during the transition week
2. Our new service cost will be billed quarterly at $65.59
- The fuel surcharge has been waived in the new contract
- Billing to homeowners will continue to be done through the Association via Spectrum
- The new rate of $65.59 will be reflected in your next trash bill
